The Andros are bright and coloured in a sweet sounding way.

While Ive listened to all three this review will be primarily focused on the M9. The IER-M9 has a sleek understated aesthetic and exudes a sense of reliability not unlike the other Sony stuff Ive handled. The Sony IER-M9 is a professional IEM in a gorgeous magnesium casing.

The Sony IER-M9 the M9 was on my mind for months. It is a lightweight IEM and fit is very comfortable. They are warm and have a slight bass boost.

Sonys stage monitor IEMs deliver great design in a thoughtful package but they sound quite different IER-M7. Now take this with a grain of salt ill edit the review later if it changes over the next few weeks but the Sony IER M9 are hands down the best most coherent sounding IEM i have ever heard. Some stated that it is a more musical tuning without going in the deep.

Its lightweight and comfortable in the ear and its memory wire is superb. It is composed of a magnesium housing and on the outside there appears to be a carbon fiber faceplate for just a touch of flare. Crystal clear mids and treble the super tweeter gives an appreciable sweetness and delicacy to the treble especially on cymbal work.

In August 2018 Sony announced 3 new IEMs. The M9s feel more realistic and darker more balanced. Bass is quick rhythm is well paced.
